Gautam Dagar is a former Captain of the Indian Rugby Team. In 2019, Gautam Dagar was married to Neha Pardeshi. She was from Pune. Gautam Dagar is a physical education teacher at the Educational Department of Delhi. He represented India in the Commonwealth Games 2010 Rugby 7s and the Asian Games 2010 in China, as well as various rugby tournaments in South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, China, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Borneo, and Istanbul. In 2016, he completed his masters in physical education and sports science at Delhi University, and he worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Boot Camp Yellow. He worked as a rugby development manager at the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) in 2017.
