Devang is a Lawyer in the Gujarat High Court and associates in one of the leading Ahmedabad-based law set. He has won 15 gold badges in his academical studies. He feels strong and is very dedicated and thinks about the human rights and also works for its development and makes sure that people make of it in every possible way. He turned out to be a face of the BJP candidate when his grandfather Ratilal Verma left and he joined the party. The 39-year-old Nanavati is the offspring of superior Gujarat high court lawyer Sudhir Nanavati who had once battled as a Congress nominee opposite BJP's Haren Pandya from the Ellisbridge assembly supporters but had lost the polls.

On the other side, Amit Mehta fought December 2007 assembly polls on NCP candidate with Congress assistance from Mahuva seat in Bhavnagar division but lost to the BJP.

After the demise of his grandfather, Nanavati moved his political support to the BJP. If party bosses were to be believed, Mandhatasinh Jadeja, son of superior Congress general and previous state Finance Representative Manoharsinh Jadeja, was also likely to join the BJP at a gathering in Rajkot.

Nanavati's passage over to the BJP was considered to be important because he comes from Saurashtra, which has happened to be the center of an anti-Modi campaign in the saffron outlay for the last years.

The BJP Nation party spokesperson said that not only leaders referring to different parties, but even non-political, but prominent celebrities from different departments were connecting to the BJP for two reasons: One, the state has managed an inconceivable range of growth under Modi's administration and two, everybody irrespective of religious political, or caste associations have served from it.
