Aalekh Kapoor

Aalekh Kapoor is an Indian model and actor. He was born on May 31, in Ahmedabad, India. He completed his early education from St. Xavier's High School, and St. Xavier's College Ahmedabad, India. Aalekh has 4 brothers and a sister. He has started his career in 2008 as a writer in Hindustan Times and as an anchor on Zoom TV in 2008. He worked in different places like Dharma Production from 2011 until 2012, Quest Alliance in 2011, Channel [V] from 2013 to 2014, Improv Comedy Mumbai and Laabs in 2011 and 2012 respectively so far.

He has also been selected for MTV VJ Hunt. Aalekh Kapoor also acted in different commercials like ICICI Bank Loan commercial, Dulux Weathershield, Sunlight Detergent (Bengali), Skore: There’s a lot to be won, Johnson’s Baby 1 and 2, Vaseline Lip Therapy. Aalekh left the Aapnu Amdavad for Mumbai about one and half years ago. Aalekh believes that there are “too many clichés attached to the glamour-industry which may or may not be true”.

Aalekh is dabbled in everything: from dancing in the rain (in the commercial) in a music video, selling loans for a bank (ICICI commercial) to walking the ramp during the Lakme India Fashion Week. He also anchored several travel shows which have taken him throughout India and the world. He writes a weekly column for a national daily, which surprisingly has a huge following group of teenage girls.
