Maleesha Kharwa is an internet personality, model, and influencer. She was born in January 2008 in one of the largest slums called Dharavi in Mumbai. Maleesha’s family is her father, Mukesh Kharwa, and her younger brother, Sahil, who reside in Mumbai. She is exceptional and passionate about her school and is in the 10th standard at a government school in Mumbai. Maleesha rose to fame after catching the attention of The Streets actor Robert Hoffman who was in India during the lockdown.
After being popularized as the Slum Princess, her life leaped into the rags-to-riches story when she got featured in Peacock Magazine as the showcase cover girl in October 2020. From that point, Maleesha’s life took a fairy-tale turn. In addition to the multiple projects she has gotten since she started her career, she is also the face of Forest Essentials, a luxury skincare brand.
