Born on 9th January, 1981, Shivani Dandekar is an Indian artist and model. She hails from a Marathi family and belongs from Pune. She is eldest of her three kins. Her kins and were additionally her co parts in the band D- Major. She started her profession as an anchor in American TV.

Other than acting as a model and an artist, when she relocated to India, she started facilitating a few shows in the Hindi television industry. She spent most of her childhood days in Australia. She facilitated three broadly appraised TV programs of American Television industry. Asian Variety Show and Namaste America were some of the notable ones. She introduced some of the popular superstars of Bollywood industry to American audiences. She also participated as a contestant in Colors TV’s dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She came back to India and proceeded with her role as a TV host.

Recently, she was seen hosting the show extra innings T20 for IPL. She likewise got the chance to feature in a men’s magazine named he was offered on the men's magazine GQ India. Apart from her band and modeling career, it was Shibani's adoration for performing the role of a host that allowed her to host some of the popular shows of the television industry with the likes of MTV Coke Studio and After Hours. Shibani has also been nominated for Indian Television Awards in the best host category.
