Born and borough up in Bengaluru, Karnataka, her father is a businessman. As a teenager, she completed her schooling from Sacred Heart Girls High School, Bengaluru. After completing her graduation in International relations from the University of Westminster, England, Tanya came back to India and started training as a model at Tiara Training Studio, Pune. Eventually, she went on to lift the crown of FBB Femina Miss India, Kolkata. In 2016, Tanya made her first portentous contribution on the silver screen as an actress with the film Appatlo Okadundevadu, where she played the role of Nithya. Since then, Tanya has been a prominent figure in the film industry.
