Viren Singh Rathore

Viren Singh Rathore was one of the contestants at the MTV’s hit show Splitsvilla; he participated in the 8th Season of the show, which was aired on July 4, 2015. He was born on March 20, 1987. His star sign is Pisces. He is five feet ten inches tall and weighs 62 kgs. He is originally from the town of Jaipur in Rajasthan and is a Hindu Rajput, but he respects all the religions. Viren has studied from the Tagore Public School, Vaishali Nagarin Jaipur and he later graduated in Commerce.

He is a family man and looks up to his father as an idol. His father’s name is Randhir Singh Rathore while his mother’s name is Sushila Kanwar Rathore. He is lovingly called Veeru. He has two other siblings, a younger brother, and an elder sister, who continue to reside in Jaipur. Before joining Splitsvilla, Viren had done pretty well in the modeling world. He had worked on assignments with big banners and walked the ramp for Lakme Fashion, Blender’s Fashion Pride, Van Heusen Men’s Fashion Week, and Wills Lifestyle.

He also appeared in many commercial TV ads for Bajaj Pulsar, Indigo Airlines, and Reliance Mobiles. His character is quite similar to Fawad Khan’s role in ‘Kapoor & Sons,’ and he claimed that he felt privileged to be a part of a show that greatly influenced the youth. In Splitsvilla 8, he was the celebrity boy inducted in the house.

He had to quit the show because he was in a relationship during the time of the shooting. It is a cardinal rule of Splitsvilla that contestants who are in a committed relationship outside of the villa do not have the permission to participate in the show, owing to this Viren was asked to quit. He later confessed in an interview that he did the show to gain fame and establish a fandom.

He claims that right from the beginning of the season he had made his intentions very clear that he did not intend to find love but instead aimed to become famous and get discovered as an actor. Viren enjoys cooking, traveling and listening to music. He also enjoys technology and is in love with his most prized asset, an iPhone.

He is currently single but wants to concentrate on his career before thinking about relationships. He loves to eat home-made food, especially when the cook of these delicacies is his mother. He wishes to spend all his time traveling especially going to Hill Stations. He is greatly into fitness, bodybuilding, and body sculpting. He enjoys keeping up with the recent seasons of Splitsvilla when he is not busy auditioning of daily soaps. He claims to be a versatile actor and is willing to take on any role as an actor; he also expresses his wish to join the glitz and glamor of Bollywood.
