He was possessive as a child. His mother reviled this in one of her interviews stating “As a kid, he was extremely possessive. He would get angry at watching me on screen; he once yelled at my co-star who had to shout at me in a scene.” Abhimanyu has always been interested in athletics during his school days. He was one of the best football players on his school team, and he thoroughly enjoyed the sport. Apart from still spending time on the football pitch, Dasani has a thirst for traveling.

He enjoys a trip every now and then to different places of interest. His hobbies also include a taste for cinema. He likes to watch a variety of movies rather than sticking to a particular or specific genre.
