Adi Irani

Adi Irani is a professional actor and TV artist. He is working in the TV Industry for the last 35 years. Adi made more than 25 films and acted in more than 18 Daily soaps. He is born in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 3rd of October, 1955. He studied from Mumbai University, Maharashtra. His wife Dawn Irani is from Mumbai itself. She did her graduation from Mithibai College, Mumbai.

He is the brother of very well known actress Aruna Irani Aruna Irani is an Indian actress who has acted in >> Read More... . She acted in more than 300 movies. She is one of the finest actresses of the Indian film industry, serving her talent since 1961. She also won many Best Supporting Actress Awards and in 2012 was honoured with  the Lifetime Achievement Award. Indra Kumar Irani is Adi’s brother. He is a director and producer. He directed more than 10 films and best known for the movies GRAND MASTI, DHAMAAL and DIL.

Adi Irani is born and brought up in a film environment while his brother and sister are already working with the Indian TV industry. Adi’s mother and father were stage artists. His father Faredun Irani acted in a few films and many people mistook his father as a cinematographer (AAN).

In 1978 with the movie Trishna, Adi started his career and after that he did many super hit movies and daily soaps. Some of the movies in which Adi acted are DIL, BETA, SUHAAG, RAJU CHACHA, WELCOME and many more.

Besides this, he gave many hit TV series like AASHIYANA, CID and SAVDHAAN INDIA. He also performed the role of great RAO BAHADUR VAPPALA PANGUNNI MENON, who was a civil servant. Adi played this role in the daily soap PRADHANMANTRI and People liked his role very much.

He also appeared in the sequel of the movie WELCOME as WELCOME BACK, which got its release in 2015.
