This is what Dilip Merala thinks and wants to do in life. Dilip did his primary schooling from 'Our Lady Of Good Counsel' (1991-2001) and continued his higher education in 'Fr. Angel Junior College'. He was active in the basketball team and in the school dance group during his academic years.

He graduated with a degree in B. Tech Engineering and Technology from 'Ramrao Adik Institute Of Technology, Dr D. Y. Patil College, Navi Mumbai. He continued his interest in dancing in college also and won many competitions with his dance group. This was the time durong which he thought that he should opt for a career in acting, where he could do much better than being an engineer. He is currently pursuing his masters in arts from IGNOU. At present he is an actor, a writer, a teacher and a very passionate traveller.

He started as a teacher through a project in Uttarakhand, when the state was hit by floods. He went with the team to the flooded areas and at that moment he had no idea that he may have to teach there. One of his fellow friends told him to be with the kids and he thought he can teach them. This is how he became a teacher and is now very much into it. He is a very good and a well known writer. He has written so many articles on so many different topics.

His main interest is writing about different travelling spots and writing about his own travelling experiences. He has his own blogs, 'Chasing My Only Dream', 'My Travel Canvas' and 'White Board Chronicles'. He is presently an editor and travel writer in 'India.com.' As an actor, Dilip Merala entered the industry through the movie " The Dirty Picture" where he acted as a photographer. Then he was seen in " 2 States" and "Fuddu" acting in supporting roles. Before entering the film industry, he has acted in many stage plays and dramas. He has been among the famous faces in stage shows.
