Ishaq Bux was born in Kampur, India on June 15, 1917. He is an actor from India. He began his acting career in 1957. His first appearance was in a TV series BBC Sunday – Night Theatre in 1957. He appeared as Ismail in the episode Farewell My City. He then appeared as Achmed and Second Bearer in two episodes in 1959. He appeared as a gardener in Nine Hours to Rama in 1963. In 1964, he appeared as Indian Bearer in The Winston Affair. In 1965, Ishaq Bux appeared in ITV Sunday Night Drama as Indian Steward in the episode Lot 171.

He also appeared in BBC Play of the Month as Qasim Ali in the episode Passage to India in the same year. Then he did not have movies or serials for a year. He came back in 1968 and starred in the serial Dixon of Dock Green as Ibrahim, as Mr. Kali in Don’t Raise The Bridge, Lower the River and as Watson’s Guest in Inadmissible Evidence. He appeared in W. Somerset Maugham, ITV Sunday Night Theatre and Department S in 1969. Ishaq Bux appeared as Ahmed in the episode The Snake in On the Buses, as Old Man in the episode Augusta Fullen in Wicked Women and as Supermarket Manager in Leo The Last in 1970. In 1971, he appeared in Long Ago, Tomorrow, Seasons of Tomorrow, The Horsemen, Catch Me a Spy and The Onedin Line. He appeared in six episodes of Six Days Of Justice as Magistrate from 1973 to 1975.
