Mamik Singh

Mamik Singh is a prominent Indian film and television actor. He was born on March 5, 1963, in Mumbai, India. He started his acting career in Mansoor Khan’s super hit sports drama film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992), where he earned a Best Supporting Actor Award. Mamik played the role of Ratan, Aamir Khan’s elder brother and this is his most notable role up to this date. However, even if the film earned popularity, he failed to get any acting roles for the next five years.

This 2016, he made a comeback in Deepak Tijori’s romantic drama film, Do Lafzon Ki Kahana; a remake of the South Korean 2011 film, Always and was adapted in the 2015 Kannada action film, Boxer. In an interview in the year 2007, he admitted that he got hook on drugs. Because of this, his family, career, and life were ruined. Mamik is very thankful to his friends and family for being the reason why he totally ended that certain phase in his life.
