Shrivallabh Vyas is an Indian television, film and theater artist. Vyas, who also goes by the name of Palav Vyas, completed his education at the National School of Drama in Delhi. Vyas set foot in the television world in 1994 with Tara where he played the role of Mr.Chavan. In 1996, he featured in Ajab Si Hai Zindagi, where he portrayed the character of Mufti Uncle. Vyas was also cast in soap operas such as Justujoo and Mrityunjay. But, the role that made him a television celebrity was that of the former Al Qaeda terrorist, Osama Bin Laden. He played the role of the terror outfit chief in the serial “Timebomb 911.” Vyas has also featured in Sony Entertainment television’s CID. The financial constraints of the Vyas family led Vallabh into juggling his acting career with that of a government office job at Mumbai Municipal Corporation. He also managed to pocket many theater and stage play roles to sustain his family’s needs.

After acquiring cameos in various Marathi films, Vyas ventured into Bollywood as Dr.Paranjpe in the 1999 movie Khel, followed by which he pocketed roles such as Ansar Kamran in Yaarana, and a family manager in the film Deewana. 1998 marked his role as Mohammad Ali Jinnah in the Paresh Rawal The Padma Shri award winner who shot to fame with >> Read More... starrer “ Sardar Bio coming soon... >> Read More... .” Vyas has also featured in Sarfarosh, Satta, Desh Devi, and Lagaan. Lagaan went on to be one of India’s greatest hits and was almost on the road to the Oscar Awards. Vyas played Gracy Singh’s father, in the film. He also featured in Dil Bole Hadippa in 2009. Vallabh Vyas suffered from paralysis as the outcome of a surgery which he had to undergo after falling unconsciously at his home. He passed away on the 7th January 2018.
