Taran Bajaj is an actor and casting director who works in the Hindi film industry, Hindi television serial industry and advertisements. He was born on 24th August in Uttar Pradesh. He is known for movies like Love Sex Aur Dhoka, Love Shagun, John Day and some others. Taran was born and brought up in Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. He studied at St. Paul’s Inter College in Shahjahanpur. In 2006, Taran arrived at Mumbai to perform in the play Bharat Ke Shahedo Tumhe Naman which was organized by actress Jaya Bachchan’s Yuvak Biradri. He portrayed the characters of Bhagat Singh, Kartar Singh and Uddham Singh in the act. In 2009, he moved to Mumbai permanently to start his career as a casting director and actor in Bollywood. In 2009, he worked on the set of 3 Idiots. Taran also had a short stint with television serials between 2009 and 2010.

He acted in the television serial Chhoti Bahu- Sindoor Bin Suhagan on Zee TV and in the comedy series Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah on Sab TV, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai on Star Plus, Miley Jab Hum Tum on Star One, Uttaran on Colors TV and many others. He also acted in the telefilm Life. In 2011, Taran made his Bollywood debut as an actor with the anthology film Love Sex Aur Dhoka directed by Dibaker Bannerjee on a digicam. It was the first film to be presented in the found footage style in India. He later acted in Love Express, Via Kargill, Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi, Zanjeer, John Day, Jazbaa, Love Shagun, Junooniyat and Udta Punjab.

In 2011, Taran also debuted as an associate director in director Remo D’ Souza’s F.A.L.T.U. He later worked in Love Express, Bubble Gum, Mausam, Thuppaki, Son of Sardaar, Mattroo Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Rangrezz, Commando, Ek Thi Daayan, Fukrey, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara!, Dedh Ishqiya, Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi, Holiday, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, Phantom, Jazbaa, Talvar, Junooniyat, Force 2 and A Death In The Ganj as an associate director. His latest works as an associate casting director are Raees and Commando 2 both in 2017. He worked as the lead casting director for Wedding Pullav and Love Shagun. Taran also worked in more than a hundred advertisements as an actor and a casting director which includes Fed Ex rock star ad, Hero Honda ICC World Cup 2011 and many others.
