Diana Hayden is a former Femina Miss India and Miss India World 1997. She was crowned this award merely at the age of 24. Diana is the third Indian national who have won the Miss World pageant. First to her are Aishwarya Rai in year 1994 and Reita Faria in 1996.

She was born on May 1, 1973 in Hyderabad in an Anglo-Indian family. She studied at St. Ann’s High School in Secunderabad, India. Subsequently, she moved to UK to study acting. She went to the drama school, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

In the Year 2001, she was debuted as a film actress through the movie, Othello: A South African Tale, before doing a guest appearance in the Bollywood movie, Tehzeeb and a lead role in the film, Ab Bas. The History channel selected her to host an exclusive 3 months series of “Biography with Diana Hayden” where she had to feature well-known world leaders, Hollywood Actors and Sports Champions. The series also included monthly interview with the Indian Celebrities also. The series have made Diana to become a prominent personality since it is the first time that History channel had signed an Indian host for its show and the series was rated to be successful.

Diana was forced to leave school in the eighth standard, and had started working at the young age of 14. She conducts lectures on motivation, confidence building by using her own life experiences, struggles, success and growth. She has helped and groomed the contestants of different nationalities for various beauty pageants. She also did some modelling for various international brands such as L’Oreal and Colgate and has served as a host for a selection of international events, which includes The Laureus World Sports Awards in Barcelona. She was invited as the special guest at the Red Cross Ball held in Monaco by Prince Rainier and Prince Albert. She was also a guest and Good Will Ambassador at venue like Cannes Film Festival.

Diana is actively involved with charities around the world; she is especially focused on issues affecting women and children. In June 2012 Diana released her first book, which is a complete grooming guide for women entitled ‘A Beautiful Truth’. This book will offer some tips for a perfect women’s grooming.
