The movie did well at the box office and earned four stars. Diya confessed in an interview that she was very scared and nervous in front of the camera as it was her first time. She compared acting to modelling and said that modelling doesn't want you to express yourself as acting demands in front of the camera. She said the director never judged her acting during the shooting so even she never judged herself and left the decision to the audience.

She said she is not a model by her profession. She used to model for some of Sabyasachi Mukherjee's works because he thought that she can do well as a model. She feels blessed to debut in the industry under the two top most banners, Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee Productions. She is waiting for the upcoming projects and willing to do even better in each of them.
