Jyoti Amge is an Indian actress, known to be the Guinness World Records’ smallest living woman in the whole world. She was born as Jyoti Kisanji Amge on December 16, 1993, in Nagpur, Maharashtra in India to Ranjana and Kishanji Amge. She has one brother named Satish and three sisters namely Rupali, Archana and Vaishali. Jyoti studied at the Bhartiya Vidyalaya Niketan High School in Nagpur.

She stands 2 ft 0.6 in or 0.62 m only, but despite being the smallest in the world, she already has a long list of achievements in her entire life. She believes that she can do the things that the normal people can do. Jyoti has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, but this little girl wanted to be treated like a normal human being. Weighing only 12 pounds, she was often carried like a doll by some people. She has a wax statue, placed in the Lonavala’s Celebrity Wax Museum. She likes acting, and her biggest dream is to become a Hollywood actress and to win an Oscar. Aside from being declared officially as the smallest living woman in the world by the Guinness, Jyoti was also declared as A Shorted Girl by the LIMCA Book of Records in 2007.

She was featured in the documentary series, Body Shock: Two Foot Tall Teen in the year 2009. She also hosted the show, Lo Show Dei Record on Canale 5 (an Italian TV channel). In the same year, she met Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who was declared as the world’s shortest man from Nepal. They both posed for the Guinness World Records’ 57th Edition in the year 2013.

She got her breakthrough after she fulfilled her ultimate dream of acting in Hollywood in the year 2014, as she was cast in the fourth season of the American Horror Story: Freak Show. She played as Ma Petite for 12 episodes of the popular series. The producer of the show saw the video of Guinness and found Jyoti’s website and so she was cast in the show. Jyoti is more focused now in working in Hollywood and has been travelling around the world for the Guinness World Record book.

She acted in the 2010 film, Pan Supari and appeared in many television shows in Brazil, Tokyo, Europe, USA, China and more.
