She also acted in Shobhna Desai Productions’ Mamta, aired on Zee TV as well. In 2008, she was seen as Dadi in the television series, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat on Star Plus channel. Jyotsna played an important role as Parvati Modi in the drama soap, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on Star Plus channel in year 2010. In 2013, Jyotsna has been part of the American conspiracy television series, Zero Hour, aired on ABC channel.
Jyotsna was part of the Hindi film, Nasoor in year 1985, which was helmed by Ashok Chopra and the blockbuster Hindi crime film, Satya in 1998. In 2005, she acted in the Bollywood comedy film, 7 1/2 Phere: More Than a Wedding, helmed by Ishaan Trivedi.
