Madhoo is indeed a cute and bubbly actress, oozing with confidence in all her films. Who would forget Madhoo’s performance as a newly married woman who relentlessly strives for her husband’s release from the clutches of the Pakistanis in the Tamil film Roja? Madhoo became famous throughout India through this film of ace director Maniratnam. Born on 26th March 1972, Madhoo debuted in the film industry with the Malayalam movie Ottayal Pattalam. She shared screen space with Mukesh in the film. This film was a box office success. The 1992 flick Roja made her a great success all over India at that time. The film, which was released in Tamil initially, owing to its good theme, was dubbed in Hindi too. Madhoo had worked in several Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu flicks.  Vaaname Ellai, Gentleman, Panchalankurichi, Mr. Romeo, Iruvar, Ganesh, Allari Priyudu, Annayya,Time Bomb, Ennodishtam Koodamo, Yodha, Neelagiri, Pehchaan, Zaalim, Haathkadi, Udaan, Mere Sapnon Ki Rani, Chehra, Sher-E-Hindustan are some of the films in which Madhoo acted. Madhoo was not very successful in Bollywood. Janta Ki Adalat and Prem Rog are a couple of her Hindi films, which failed miserably at the box office.
