Megha Dhade is an Indian actress. She prominently works in the Hindi and Marathi media industry. Megha has featured in many Hindi and Marathi TV serials. She also appeared in various Marathi movies. Megha was born on the 23rdof May in the suburbs of Jalgaon, Maharashtra. After spending her childhood in Jalgaon, she moved to Mumbai for higher studies. Megha is the only one in her family to pursue a career in films. Most of her family members are academic-oriented. She had an immense passion for acting from an early age. Megha used to bunk classes for watching films in the theatres.
After completing her 12th, she completed her B. Tech from a college in Mumbai. She is an Electrical Engineer. However, Megha also started modelling in between her studies and received a positive feedback. Thus, she decided to work in the Film industry. Megha also appeared in 2009 soap opera Kasturi, portraying a character named Sanchi. She particularly received praise for her acting skills in the cult Serial Pehchaan (209). Pehchaan became the most popular Dooradarshan serial of that year.Megha played the role of the protagonist of the serial, Sunaina. She next appeared in 2010 series Kis Desh Mein Hai MeraDil, playing the role of a girl next doorGurmeetJuneja. Balaji Telefilms produced all her Hindi Serials, except Pehchaan. Megha also acted in two Marathi serials around that time, namely Chiranjiv Sauvagya kankshini (2009) and Kata Rutye Kunala (2009). The names of her characters are Purvi and Shweta, respectively. In 2010, she played the protagonist Anjali in acclaimed TV Serial Marathi Saheb.
Megha appeared in the Marathi reality show named Zhunj Marathmoli that telecasted in Colors Maratha. Megha made her debut in the Marathi film industry with 2012 Crime-thriller Matter. She turned producer for her next movie,Superstaar. She also appeared in a leading role in the film along with SiddharthJadav. The project released in various countries and managed to recover its budget. Her next film was 2013 action-comedy Bokad for which she received critical applause. Megha is popular for her humanitarian personality throughout Maharashtra. Her height is 5’2” and she is still unmarried.
