Naina Dhaliwal

Born in Ludhiana, Punjab on 16^th September 1984 Naina showed early signs of being interested in performing. Naina was fortunate as in a place where females are not given any rights at all she was amongst those few who were allowed to study. She completed her formal education from Christian convent school, Kapurthala.

She graduated from Ramgarhia College with a degree in Humanities. Coming from a small city Naina had a responsibility on her shoulders that she had to do well for herself. She won the Gladrags Mrs. India contest in 2004 and also won the title for being the queen of the catwalk. She represented India at the Miss Globe 2005 contest held in Palm Springs, California.  Her lack of training in acting and dull presence on the screen showed in her performance. She did movies such as Anthony Kaun Hai? Dand-The Punishment, Jackpot-Tne Money Game to name a few. She did regional films as well. Although none of her films seemed to make any remarkable notice on the screen.

Most people remembered her as a one hit wonder. After a while, she retired herself from acting and stopped taking any offers that came her way. She soon realized that modeling had always been her first love, her true calling, the one thing that shot her life to fame, so she returned to the ramp. Her fans welcomed her back and received her with applause. It was significant to see that the queen of the runway was finally back. Although she leads a very private life but she is still  on the ramp, cat-walking her way back to the fame.
