The serial got a far & wide attention and praise. Piyali became a known face in the television industry. After her one year long stint with the serial, she was offered another period serial called ‘Budhdha-Rajaon Ka Raja’ (2014), which was aired on Zee TV.

The serial was based on the life of ‘Gautama Buddha’. She aspires to enter into films after her television endeavours. She belongs to a small town in Bengal and prior to her stay in Mumbai she was living in Kolkata.
