Seema Kelkar

Seema Kelkar is an actor, model, and artist based out of Mumbai. Seema was born in Kuwait in the year 1962. Though born in Kuwait, she has spent most of her life in Mumbai. Seema has done Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the prestigious R.A. Podar College.

She also has a done a certificate course in textile design from the Rachna Sansad College. Also, her immense interest in fine arts led her to pursue a foundation course in Fine Art from the renowned J.J.School of Art.

Seema is best known for her career as a ravishing model and a wonderful actress. She as backed a special place in the advertisement world by modeling for more than hundred advertisements. She has modeled for many famous brands that range from basic daily use products like toothpaste and shampoo etc. to pain relieving tablets.

She has been part of famous advertisement campaigns like close-up toothpaste brand, and the famous Rin washing powder advertisement. Also, she had showcased personal care brands by advertising for the clinic plus shampoo for which she was much appreciated and also for Charms cold cream and the crocin pain relief tablet.

Apart from doing advertisements, Seema has done a good amount of work in the acting field for Television and Bollywood as well. She had played the female lead in the Hindi TV Serial, ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan', where she gained the appreciation of the masses for her fabulous performance.

She also played the protagonist in Shyam Benegal’s show called the ‘Discovery of India,' also called as ‘Bharat Ek Khoj.'
