Shafna is an Indian cinema actress. She has been seen mainly in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films. She was born on June 15, 1990, to Nizam and Shahida. She has two siblings, both girls, Shabna, and Shaina, one is elder, and the other is younger. She made her acting debut when she was just a eight years old child, in 1998, with the movie Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala.

She became instantly famous with this role in which she played the role of daughter to Sangeetha and Sreenivasan. She was loved by the audiences for her innocent looks. One of her dialogues in Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala became so famous that even today people recall it. The dialogue was "Ayyo acha pokalle" which is still very famous among the Malayali audiences.
