EARLY CAREER

Born to Andreas and Diane D’souza, Tara was brought up in Hyderabad, India. She has completed her schooling from Vidyaranya High School. The school is for both boys and girls. Tara has two siblings. Her brother’s name is Noel Prasad D’Souza and her sister, Mira D’Souza. Tara pursued her dream of becoming an actress with perseverance.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Tara tried her luck on the reality TV show called “Calendar Model Hunt”, a show which was aired on NDTV Good Times and was organized by Kingfisher, and soon she was selected as a “Kingfisher Calendar Girl”. She then marched on to work in modelling. In the year 2006, Tara made her debut in the movie “The Angrez”, a Tollywood movie. The motion picture was released in not many parts of Hyderabad but was very well appreciated in some of the parts where it was screened. Then, she was given a chance in the biggest venture of her professional career. She was offered a role in the Yash Raj Film Production in the movie “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” where she had co-starred with one of the most prolific actors, Ali Zafar Ali Zafar is a multifaceted personality, though he >> Read More... . This particular film made her reach new heights which just pushed her career in the forward direction. She also bagged a role in “Mujse Fraaandship Karoge” as a lead actress, a movie based on the Facebook. The movie and her acting received appreciation and many positive reviews.
