Hindi Movie Actress Tridha Choudhury

Tridha Choudhury is a Bengali and Telugu film actress. She was born and brought up in Kolkata, W. Bengal. Choudhury did her school education from M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School. She went on to obtain a degree in microbiology from Scottish Church College, Kolkata. She is trained in classical dancing and has performed in national level dance competitions. Since a very young age, Choudhury was fond of modelling and this interest led her to become the Calcutta Times Fresh Face 2011. Tridha’s debut film was Mishawr Rawhoshyo, a Bengali film directed by Srijit Mukherjee, which released in 2013. The movie became quite popular among the audiences and turned out to be one of the most successful films of 2013.

She did two more Bengali films after that – Jodi Love Dile Na Prane(2013), a love story which began during the teen years of the lead characters, but then they end up marrying different people, to unite once again after a period of 20 years; and Khaad(2014), a movie about a group of travellers, who become acquaintances as a consequence of being in the same bus. Unfortunately, their bus meets and accident and they get stranded in the middle of nowhere. The movie is about the trials, tests, and life struggles of these passengers and how they decide to start afresh after this incident.

She has also done a Telugu film titled Surya vs. Surya(2014) a typical south Indian action film; and an English short film titled Merry Christmas(2015). She plays the role of a lawyer who believes in doing the right thing and does not want to live a life tied to insensitive customs and traditions, true to her character’s name – Swadheenta. As mentioned in an interview Tridha gave to Asian Age, “My character has been very well thought out and penned beautifully....I feel Swadheenta(the name of her character) is someone every woman will relate to.” Tridha’s Hindi isn’t very good since she comes from a Bengali background and says that she had trouble with her lines. On top of that, she also had to pick up Telugu as her role demanded. There were rumours that Tridha Choudhury was dating her co-star from Dehleez, Harshad Arora, but the two have dismissed them. She is a bubbly young actress who has a lot way ahead of her.
