Chahat Kakkar

Chahat Kakkar is a native of Delhi, India. At a very young age, he had a passion for music and he wanted to make music his career. Chahat started to take formal training in Guitar thereafter. He did a Diploma program in Sound Recording and Radio Production at the Asian Academy of Film and Television. He did his graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication at EIILM University. Moreover, he went to Prayag Sangeet Samiti to complete his senior Diploma in Indian Classical Music. After completing his education, he started working as a Music Composer in the Indian Film Industry, predominantly working in Bollywood Industry.

He started his career by working as a Musician at Super Cassettes Industries. Furthermore, he worked as a Sound Engineer at Times Internet and Vasonomics, Music Composer at Ideosync Media Combine, The Buddhist Monk, and Acres N Inches and a Music Director at Gram Vaani Community Media. He is currently working at Aristocrat as a Senior Lead Sound Designer. Some of his famous works are Kaju and Aao Na. He supports social causes such as Animal Welfare, Civil Rights and Social Action, Education, Health, Human Rights, and many more. He is quite active the on social media platforms like Instagram. Chahat Kakkar is a well-known Indian Music composer, producer, arranger, sound designer, sound engineer, singer, & performer. He was sure about his musical career from his childhood. He started taking formal guitar training. Other than guitar, he also plays Drums, Keyboard, Harmonica, Congo, and more. He did his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from EIILM University from 2009 to 2012. He even took a diploma course in Sound Recording and Radio Production in 2009 from Asian Academy of Film & Television. Further, he worked as a Sound recordist/ designer, music composer & teacher at Asian Academy of Film & Television. He taught the students about sound production, designing, recording techniques, and more from June 2010 to October 2011 in Noida, India. He created VAS Content like Interactive Voice Response in Times Internet as a Sound Engineer in Noida, India from November 2011 to February 2012. He worked at Vasonomics in New Delhi, India as Sound Engineer from February 2012 to June 2012.

He worked as an additional background music composer in Mumbai Cha Raja from August 2012 to September 2012. He was the main background music composer at Michael Keller’s Red Gold from May 2013 to June 2013. This film was produced by Gray Area Productions. He created songs for radio programmes as a music composer and sound designer at Ideosync Media Combine in Faridabad, India. He was the music composer of the film The Buddhist Monk.
