Nayeem Ashraf is a Music Composer and Music Director based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born and brought up in Jammu & Kashmir and moved to Mumbai in 2012. He holds a degree of Bachelor’s in Science and received formal training in music from the University of Kashmir. He is highly skilled in Singing, Vocal Coaching, Music production, and Music Education. In Bollywood, Nayeem works with his music partner, Shabir, and the duo is known by the name ‘Nayeem-Shabir.’
Before working in the Bollywood music industry, Nayeem and Shabir used to sing in hotels and restaurants. They also assisted various music directors. In 2018, Nayeem got the opportunity to work with Zee Music Company. Since 2019, he has been working as Music Director with Vashvi Films.
Later, the duo got the opportunity to compose the music album of their debut movie called ‘Sarfira.’ Nayeem-Shabir became a popular music composer duo in Bollywood which has composed songs for several movies, such as Ghost (2019), Yaara (2019), Yaaram (2019), and Pagalpanti (2019).
