Sohail Sen is an Indian singer, musician and film composer who has mainly worked in Bollywood film industry. In 2008, he debuted as a film composer with the movie Sirf. The movie wasn't able to acquire large audiences and went unnoticed. He was born on June 24, 1984. He is born into a family of musicians and his entry into this industry is the fourth generation of his family to do so. His dad, Samir Sen was a music director and his grandfather was a singer. At the age of six, he started learning the instrument Tabla. He had composed his first music at the age of thirteen for the Telefilm Roshini. Kavita Krishnamurthy had provided the playback for the song.

In 2009, he was approached by Ashutosh Gowariker which became a turning point in his life with the movie What's your Rashee? The music of the film was pretty good and well taken by the audiences. He made 13 songs for each zodiac sign and one for the final choice. It was a hard task, and it took him more than one and a half years to complete. Also, he sang many songs in the film. Then in 2013, he again got an opportunity to work with a big banner Yash Raj Films in the film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The music of the song is loved by all and gained a lot of appreciation.
