Aarav Kumar was born on 15th September 2002 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He was born and brought up in Mumbai. He has a Younger sister Nitara Khanna. He went to Ecole Mondiale World School, Juhu, Mumbai. He is very much interested in sports from his childhood. From the age of four, he practiced martial arts and till now he go to the classes regularly. In his school too, he participated in many sports competitions. Because of his hard work from such a tender age, he could win Brown belt and first-degree black belt in Kudo, a Japanese Marshal Art; Okinawa and Goju Raj Karate Do.

Even the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi mentioned him in one of his tweets stating that he is a good boy. Then the photo where Modi is pulling his ear went viral on social media. His dad tweeted on the day he won the black belt, and Twinkle Khanna opined that it is his mother's day gift to her. Keeping apart all his academic and personal achievement, Aarav Kumar is as simple as his father, Akshay Kumar. In Bollywood, Akshay is known for his gentleness and simplicity. There, he had learnt several basic survival skills such as cooking, traveling, and facing any tough situations which hinders his journey towards his goals. He is a baker by heart and often concocts foodstuffs for his family and friends.He has also won laurels in Judo, bagging a gold medal in the” National Level Judo Championship”.
