Jasraj Jayant Joshi is a playback singer and a composer. He is the winner of the renowned Indian singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ which is telecasted on Zee TV. Jasraj’s interest in music developed at a very young age. The reason behind this interest was his grandfather who was a classical singer. When he was very young, Joshi started doing ‘riyaz’ along with his grandfather. Joshi at a very young age decided what he wants to be, ‘a musician.’ His family members also supported his decision and were very strict about his training. They also made sure that Jasraj is given enough time to practice. Jasraj is one of the members of the music composer trio, Jasraj-Hrishikesh-Saurabh. All the three had known each other for a really long time and even had a band when they were in college. The band has composed songs for a number of movies. Their most notable work can be seen in the movies like ‘Online Binline’ and ‘Time pass.’ They have also composed music for the film called ‘Funturu’ and are currently working on a couple of other unnamed projects.

According to him, composing demands everything to begin right from the scratch. He also believes that the whole process of making music becomes tough sometimes but most of the times it's enjoyable. The singer has sung more than forty songs till now and also has worked on an album of ‘Saregama’ label. Along with Jasraj, Reshama Pandya has also worked as the lead artist. The album also features Manoj Pandya which was released in 2014 and has melodious songs like, Ek HaseenaThi, Ketaki Gulab, and Gara jBaras.
