Alok Ranjan is an Indian politician and social worker who was born in Bihar, India. He was born on 15th October 1974. He is the son of the late Pramod Jha. He was the Previous Minister of the Art, Culture & Youth department of the Bihar Government. He completed his post-graduation from Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura in 1996. He also got his Ph.D. from the same university in 2007. He was a member of the Bihar Vidhan Sabha from 2010 to 2015. He joined the Bhartiya Janta Party. He earned the Saharsa Assembly constituency on the BJP ticket in the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election.
