Anu Ranjan

Anu Ranjan is a producer who was born on 10th October 1960. She was born in New Delhi while she had been brought up in various cities as Shimla, Kolkata, and Los Angeles. Apart from being the producer, she is also the television veteran for three decades, philanthropist and educationist.

She completed her schooling from Convent of Jesus & Mary while her college from St. Bede’s College of Shimla & Loreto College of Kolkata. Further, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her higher studies. She has two daughters, Anushka and Akansha Ranjan. The producer founded ‘The Indian Television Academy’ in 2001. Since then, she is the president of it. Moreover, she is the co-founder and the director of the ITA School of Performing Arts. Furthermore, GR8 Entertainment, which has celebrated 20 years in India and the Middle East, was also established under her supervision.

The motive of it is to honor and felicitate women from different fields. The renowned Facebook Talkshow ‘Reel or Real with Anu Ranjan’ is also hosted by her. Anu is the Co-founder and partner of India’s first Audition booking platform, ‘Tikcket2Audition.’ She is a self-motivated and independent lady. Anu is not only the entrepreneur but also the authentic visioner who has contributed a lot in transforming the face of Television. She has been active in her social life and even does many contributions to it.

She founded the ‘NGO BETI Association,’ which is a charity for women and was started on 4th February 2006, with the support of UNFPA. The producer even hosts various drives to encourage superstars for their contribution. Nowadays, she is living in Mumbai and busy with the maintenance of all the organizations.
