She is a senior supervising producer in the Indian film industry. She completed her BA in history from Ramnarain Ruia College in 1977-2000. In 2004-2006 she has completed her Master of Arts in Archeology from Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute in Pune, India. In industry, she is known for producing films like Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag(2013), Madras Cafe(2013), What the Fish(2013), etc. Also, she has worked in shaitan and Dev D as a supervising and line producer, respectively.
Time to time, she has worked with different agencies like Star Plus Pvt. Limited (2000-2003), in several film and television (2007), alt+ctrl+del(2004-2007), UTV Motion Pictures(2007-2010), Viacom 18 Motion Pictures(2010-2015), also she worked as an Deputy Director in Film Bazar(2016). In 2018 she was named as creative head of Lions gate India.
