Mukesh Bhatt is an Indian film producer who was born on June 5, 1952, to Nanabhai Bhatt and Shirin Mohammad Ali. He is a younger brother of renowned filmmaker and screenwriter
Mahesh Bhatt. Nanabhai’s brother was Balwant Dutt, who was also a movie director. The duo brother had made some successful movies such as ‘Aaashiqui’, ‘Jurm’,’ Sadak’, and ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’. The duo had tried to launch a career of
Pooja Bhatt, who is Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter ( Sadak and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin) along with
Aamir Khan and
Sanjay Dutt. Films like Aashiqui and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin had given a facelift to the career of playback
Kumar Sanu and
Anuradha Paudwal and even music composer Nadeem Shravan. He is married to Nilima Bhatt, and they have a son called Vishesh and a daughter called Sakshi. The family has also launched a film production company Vishesh Films after their son Vishesh.
