Another version of this story...

Recently, another segment of the entertainment world is coming into the portfolios of actors and actresses. With the widespread advent of FM broadcasts all over the country, radio jockeys are also hogging the audio audience’s attention and many of them are also becoming quite a celebrity in their own right, with their gift of the gab. Sana Sheikh shot into limelight via the radio jockey route, and it is to her credit that with her bubbly charm that oozed out of the radio show “Khubsurat Sana Ke Sath”, she picked up an avid fan following even before she decided to join TV or films. While she was always very enthusiastic about presenting shows and programs even in her school days, the break came to her when she successfully auditioned with Radio Mirchi, while still in school.

After that there has been no looking back for her. Although, she is still a star attraction on Radio, currently hosting the show “Television Radio Par”. Perhaps she still cannot forget this - her first love. Side by side, she is quite in the midst of several TV serials as well as movies. Even in films she started quite young, with her appearance as the young Savi in Zee TVs “Hasratein”, when she was just about 6 years old. Including her debut child role, she has now worked in 9 TV serials in the last 10 years for multiple channels. This includes a different sort of role for Channel V, about which she has been quite enthusiastic. She has been appreciated for all of her varied roles, including the negative character portrayed by her in “Sasural Simar Ka” on the Colors channel.

Her foray into Bollywood was perhaps a natural next step and her familiar face has already been seen in the two movies that she has acted in, including “Singham”, the Ajay Devgn blockbuster of 2011, in which she appeared as the heroine’s younger sister. Blessed as she is with a positive spirit, there is surely much more that her fans would see in the coming days.
