Shreya Srivastava

Shreya Srivastava is an Indian Film writer who has predominantly worked in Hindi film Industry. She was born in Amritsar, Punjab in a middle-class family. She grew up with her parents and her younger brother. Her father was an IT professional and her mother was a house-wife. She completed her schooling from her hometown. She was more of a book-worm kid. She used to read books a lot. She slowly developed interests towards writing as well. She always used to write short stories in her free time. Many of her stories were printed in the local as well as school magazines. She also used to take part in story reciting competitions and narrated her own written stories. She was appreciated for her work and won various awards too. After completing her college, she moved out of her hometown for further studies.

She completed her engineering in Information Technology. While she was in her college, she became the member of the drama club. At first, she used to play minor roles in the plays but later on, she became the writer of the short plays. Shreya Srivastava used to edit as well write plays for the short movies. One of her written plays also won a prize at college’s cultural fest. After completing her college, she decided to work in Indian Film Industry as a writer.
