Ankush Bhardwaj

Ankush Bhardwaj is a singer, who became famous after he participated in singing reality show Indian Idol Season 10. He was born on 11th December 1992 in Kotgarh, Himachal Pradesh. Ankush started singing at the age of 10. He completed his schooling from Hainault Public School, Shimla. He graduated in commerce from R. G. G. D. College of Shimla in 2014. He completed M.B.A from Amity.

He had participated in many other shows before Indian Idol. He was among the finalists of Voice of Himalayas in 2011. He was also the first runner up of Himachal Ki Awaaz. He also performed in various music festivals in Shimla, including Kishore Nights and Rafi Nights. Two years later, he won Sangam Sur Sangeet Ka Season 1 in 2013, organized by Cedar Productions. After three years, he became one of the top 10 contestants in Benadryl Big Golden Voice Season 4.

Along with other contestants of Indian Idol, he sang for the campaign ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,’ and the song ‘Sab Badhiya Hai’ for the film Sui Dhaga as well. He is inspired by his father, who used to sing for Radio and Doordarshan.
