Asha Puthli

Asha Puthli is an actress, producer, singer and songwriter of Indian origin. She was born and brought up in Bombay city of Maharashtra in India. She sings songs of the variety of genres but the most widely recognized one is jazz. She has delivered vocals in the jazz album of Ornette Coleman, Science Fiction. She has recorded around ten solo music albums for popular labels like RCA, EMI, and Sony. She is a leading metropolitan singer of jazz, disco, pop, electronic, soul, etc. type of genres of songs. In her early years, Asha trained in European opera and Indian classical music.
