Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known as Badshah, is an Indian rapper known for his Hindi, Punjabi, Haryanvi and English songs. Born and brought up in Delhi, his mother is Punjabi and father is Haryanvi. He did his schooling at Bal Bharati Public School, Delhi, and pursued Civil Engineering at the Chandigarh Institute of Technology. Badshah states that he had always had an interest in music, being in the school choir as a young boy, and was introduced to new Punjabi music in his college days. Badshah collaborated and released his first track in 2006 with fellow Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. He released his first album, ‘Born Star’ in 2012 and had released three albums since.

His entry into Bollywood was through the song ‘Kar Fateh’ in the movie Bikkar Bai Sentimental in 2013. Badshah’s famous singles include 2 Many Girls and DJ Waley Babu and famous Bollywood contributions include Saturday Saturday in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’ in Khoobsurat, and ‘Selfie Le Le Re’ in Bhajrangi Bhaijaan.
