Damodar Rao is an Indian composer and Singer, who predominantly works for Bollywood for the last few years. His music genre is about acoustic folks, with the amalgamation of classical music. DamodarRaao was born on 21st August 1977. In 2007, he moved to Mumbai to make his career in music. He has composed a lot of songs in Hindi as well as in Bhojpuri. DamodarRaao received the award for Best Music Director of the Year 2012 by Darshnik Mumbai Press Media Award in the year 2014.
He is also honored withAapkiAwaz Foundation for Best Music Director & awarded with the Mumbai Gaurav Award of the year 2014 for the Bhojpuri film MajnuMotorwala. DamodarRaaowas awarded the ChhatrapatiShivaji Gaurav Award in 2016 by Darshnik newspaper and EvershineMitramandal in Mumbai. DamodarRaao can play Vocals, harmonium, keyboard, and voice-overs very easily. He has also worked under some of the music companies like Venus, T-Series, Sony Music Entertainment, Moser Baer, and Sai Records.
