Fariha Pervez

Fariha Pervez is one of the most versatile female singers of the country. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, she got her singing abilities from her father and joined "Master Feroze Gill" in 1995 for classical training in music. She is one singer who can perform in modern pop styles, folk, classical, semi-classical, etc. Fariha is fond of her two brothers and likes to spend time with them. Born on 2nd February, Pervez started her career with both acting and anchoring, working in TV serials like Ainak Wala Jin Ainak Wala Jin is a Pakistani children's telev >> Read More... , a kids drama show, but later shifted to music.

Her first music album, Nice & Naughty released in 1996 and got quite a positive reaction. She has sung for many Pakistani movies like Salaib, Inteha & Moosa Khan, Chief Sahab, Ghoongat, etc., and also appeared on PTV programs, a program consisting of Ameer Khasro's songs. Her sixth album, Passion, was released in 2005 which consisted of 12 songs. The video of "Yaad Piya Ki" got the award for the Best Ballad in the 1st The Musik Awards (TMA) and was directed by Jawad Bashir.

After five years, in 2010, her seventh album, “ Abhi Abhi Abhi Abhi is a Pakistani serial that premiered in >> Read More... ” was released under the label of Sadaf Stereo.
