Aditya Karandikar

Aditya Karandikar is an Indian Sound Engineer, Sound Mixer, Sound Producer, and Sound Designer. He was born in 1993 in Thane district in the state of Maharashtra. When Aditya Karandikar was twelve years old, he came across the concept of sound engineering. After a bit of research, the young Aditya Karandikar decided then and there that sound engineering was what he wanted to do in life.

Aditya Karandikar completed his SSC from Saraswati Vidyalaya High School and Jr. College in 2009. Keeping his career in mind, Aditya Karandikar planned to complete his HSC in the science stream and then become a sound engineer. However, after he finished his HSC from Wamanrao Muranjan Jr. College of Science and Commerce in 2011, his parents were not very convinced with his decision. So they urged him to get a degree before pursuing any professional training. Eventually, at the behest of his parents, Aditya Karandikar enrolled at Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering. In 2015, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.

Even after his degree, Aditya Karandikar’s parents tried to convince him to get a Master’s. However, Aditya Karandikar put his foot down and convinced his parents of his dream instead. The same year, he enrolled for a Certificate course in Sound Engineering at the Zee Institute of Media Arts. Over the course of his career, Aditya Karandikar has worked at renowned companies like FutureWorks Media Limited, Evoke Media Services, Madhur Dhwani Studios, Woodstock Studios, and worked as a faculty member at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
