Ahmed Jahouh

Ahmed Jahouh is a football player from Morocco who plays for the Indian Football club of Goa. He was born on 31st July in 1988 in Al Aaroui in Morocco. He plays on a loan given from FUS Rabat. His playing position is that of a defensive midfielder.

He is a deep-lying as well as a box to box midfielder. He is an efficient tackler with a good presence of mind, capable of handling himself well during the game. He kick-started his career with a Moroccan football club called Ittihad Khemisset, founded in 1940.

He spent four years with the club from 2006 to 2010. In the year 2010, he joined the Moroccan football club called Moghreb Athletic de Tetouan. Playing from the Moghreb side, he won two consecutive Botola seasons held in 2011-2012 and 2013-2014. In September of 2012, he joined the Emirati Club called Al-Ittihad Kalba under a year-long loan. In 2013, he completed his term with Kalba.

In 2015 he signed a contract with a sports club called Raja Club Athletic for three years. He wasn't given the opportunity for many appearances while under Casablanca, so on 25th July 2016, he joined FUS Rabat on another three-year contract. He scored his first for his club in a match against Casablanca which ended in a draw. On 2nd August 2017, Ahmed joined FC Goa, an India Super League Franchise on a loan deal, for a year.

He was the first football player from Morocco to play in India. While in the club, Ahmed did not wear the logo of one of the sponsors of the team as it was an alcohol brand. Being a Muslim, he stated religious justifications for not wearing the logo of the sponsor. Once the season of the league ended, he did not get a chance in the Super Cup squad. At the international level in football, Jahous represented the Morocco team in the Arab Nations Cup in 2012.

As a member of Ittihad Khemisset, he made fourteen appearances in the 2009-2010 Botola. While being a part of Moghreb Tetouan he made many appearances in Botola, 108 appearances in total and he also scored eleven goals from 2010 to 2015. After Ahmed joined-Ittihad Kalba, he scored one goal, and in Raja Casablanca, he scored three goals. Under FUS Rabat, his ball found the net twice. His entire career has a total of 192 appearances and eighteen goals.
