Surya Kumar Upadhyay

Surya Kumar Upadhyay, a Journalist, Story Writer, Screenplay Writer, and Lyricist, resides in Delhi. He completed his school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya Azamgarh in Science stream from 1979-91. Surya Kumar Upadhyay studied B. Sc. in Maths and Physics at Shibli National College Azamgarh from 1991-94. He has a PG Diploma in Hindi Journalism from Delhi University South Campus. 

Surya Kumar Upadhyay was a Journalist at ETV News Delhi Bureau from 2004-09 and Press Trust of India from 2009-11. He was a Senior Journalist at Yellow Butterfly Media Zee Business in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Lucknow since July 2011. Surya Kumar Upadhyay gained the skills of Image Brand Expertise and Election Management from there. He has been an Image Branding Expert since August 2013. 

He has written the story and lyrics of the Hindi feature film Global Baba, released in 2016. The four songs written by him are Maula Teri Yaad Aye, Baba Tharki, Babayog, and Holi Mein Ude. Surya Kumar Upadhyay has also been the Executive Producer of the drama Romantic Tukde (2023). He was the Screenplay Writer of the film Halla Gulla Gali Mohalla. His other works as a Writer include Kaliganj- A Battle of Revenge, released on 17 March 2023; Ab Pallavi Azad Thi, released on 8 July 2021; Meri Pyari Monto, his first romantic fiction work released on 9 October 2019; Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, released on 1 January 2018; and Beti Sadaa Ke Liye, released on 12 June 2020.
