Bhupendra Singh Jadawat is an Indian actor and scriptwriter who is known for his work in the Hindi film industry as well as in independent theater productions. Bhupendra comes from the town of Kotah in Rajasthan. His passion for acting has been the core ideal for his hard work and dedication in the field of dramatics. He studied in the National School of Drama, New Delhi, where his creativity and talent flourished under the tutelage of the many predominant figures of theatre.

His contribution to the field also extends to scriptwriting, and he has composed many plays, both whimsical and thought-provoking. Bollywood recruited him for the role of many supporting parts in movies like ‘Pondicherry (2020).’ He has also been cast in the role of Derek, the protagonist of the short film, ‘Destiny.’ The movie, written and directed by Vikkramm Chandirramani, is a bitter-sweet romantic comedy that follows the petty ordeals of a young girl bent on getting her revenge.

The film was internationally acclaimed, and it received the ‘Best Foreign Film’ award at the Ridgewood Guild International Film Festival. It was screened at the NCCC Film and Animation Festival and the Jagran Film Festival. Since its initial release on YouTube in 2018, it has had a viewership of over 4.5 million. Bhupendra’s work and skill in theatre have also been widely acknowledged.

In 2019, he founded the ‘Red Marks Studio’ in Mumbai as a haven for budding thespians. He co-wrote and acted in the play, ‘Man Maana Square’. The team swept away the entire audience through its performance at the annual theater festival, ‘Thespo.’ The hour-long anthology is a thrilling medley of different themes like awkward sexual liaisons and social divides. It probes the memories of four young people as they revisit caustic points in their lives.

Bhupendra was given the ‘Alyque Padamsee Award’ for Outstanding Male Actor for his compelling performance as a love-struck bicycle repairman. The play was also awarded ‘Outstanding Ensemble’ and ‘Outstanding Play.’ Bhupendra continues to participate in various acting enterprises in pursuit of perfection.

Bhupendra Singh Jadawat was born on 12th November 1992 in the small village of Thikariya in Kota, Rajasthan. Quite introverted, Bhupendra finished high school from Brightland Sr. Sec. School in Kota and moved to Jaipur for his graduation.
