Salman Khan portrays Bajrangi, a keen devotee of Hindu idol Hanuman, who boards on taking a voiceless six-year-old Pakistani lassie (Malhotra), detached in India from her parents, back to her birthplace in Pakistan.

The story of the movie in its latter part is, Pawan and Munni go into Pakistan. Soon after their entrance, under uncertainties of being an Indian emissary, the lawman detains pawan. He flees with Munni and encounters Chand Nawab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a correspondent who works for a Pakistani TV network.

Nawab has thoroughly been following the advances. Stirred by the tale, Nawab agrees to join Pawan and help him to find Munni's parents. They embark a bus to Sultanpur. A patrol who are investigating for "the Indian emissary" blocks the bus.

Formulating a plan to distract their concentration, Pawan gets off the bus and darts toward the wilderness in full sight. He gets chased down, hammered, and shot in hand. In the meantime, Nawab and Munni arrive at Sultanpur, where Munni unites with her mom.

Answering to a call by Nawab, thousands of Pakistanis and Indians assembled at an Inspection Post, to see Pawan revert to India. As Pawan goes across the border, Shahida, who is also in the gathering, runs in the direction of the fence and yells out for him with her now recovered speech. Pawan and Shahida sprint in the direction of each other and hug.

Overall, the actor says working with his idol and even portraying him in the movie is like a dream come true. He is looking forward to doing more flicks like this and if possible cooperating with Salman Khan.
