Suhel Seth

Suhel Seth is a well-known actor, businessman, columnist, TV Pundit, and keynote speaker from the entertainment industry. He was born on 28 May 1963. His birthplace is Kolkata, West Bengal. He studied at St. Joseph College, Nainital, and graduated from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He holds a bachelor's Degree in English Honors and a Master's in International Relations.

From 2005-2010, he was the Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry from 2010-2011. He started his journey by working in advertising agencies like Response India and Ogilvy & Mather. In 1996, with his brother Swapan, he founded the advertising agency Equus Red Cell. He also founded consultancy firm Counselage India in 2022, and Quadra Advisory with Shunu Sen. In Counselage India, he picked four major brands Coca Cola India, Jet Airways, the Delhi Government, and the World Travel and Tourism Council.

In 2008, he became on the global Advisory Board of the San Francisco-based blogging platform Live Journal, a Russian-owned social networking service. In 2016, he was in the Tata Group and helped to reconstruct their brand image. In 2018, he was in the Adani Group as a brand consultant. He also holds the Trustee of India Brand Equity Foundation position for six years. He also writes columns for the Hindustan Times, Financial Times, Telegraph, and Indian Express.

He is also on the board of the Max Foundation, which provides cancer treatment to patients all over the world. He donated 50 lakhs rupees to the museum dedicated to parents. He also holds a seat on the Indian Head Injury Foundation, a foundation building brain trauma care systems in India. As an author, his first book was In Your Face, which is a collection of interviews and columns published in different newspapers and magazines.  His other book, Kalighat to Culcatta, was co-authored with R.K Laxman and Khushwant Singh.

In 2011, he independently authored the book Get To the Top, which is about the guide of aspirational Indians. The Target is another book co-authored with Shantanu Guha Ray and is about the downfall of business tycoon Jignesh Shah's global empire. In addition to this, He acted in over 135 English plays and Bollywood movies. His notable work as an actor is the TV series Aap Jo Bole Haan To Haan in 2013, Rog in 2005, Guzaarish in 2010, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011, Calender Girls in 2015, and Dil Bekarar in 2021.
