Kumkum Das is an Indian actress. Her work is predominant in the Gujarati cinema. Her association with Gujarati theatre began in Mumbai when she arrived from Baroda. She has obtained her degree in Science from M. S. University in Baroda, after which she started teaching in a school. After her small debut in Rajendra Butala’s play, a spate of offers came for her and she did some very good plays. However, she always felt the constant urge to do more things that would add meaning to her life and enrich her experience.
