Prerna Chawla

Prerna Chawla, co-owner of “Pickle Shikle”, is a person of versatile talents. Along with her theater career, she has successfully established her business of pickle along with her sister. Prerna Chawla was born and brought up in Delhi.

While completing her graduation from Lady Shri Ram College in English Literature, Prerna explored her passion for theater and decided to move back to Mumbai 15 years ago.

She has acted with some renowned theater groups under biggest productions like Aarambh, Akvarious Productions, Rage Productions, and many more. Not only as an actor, but she has also marked herself high as a well-known voice-over artist and proved herself as a producer.

Recently she has proudly completed her directorial debut. Prerna and her sister belong from a multicultural ancestry, their father’s side is from Multan and her mother’s side comes from Burma. Hence, from childhood, Prerna and her sister have generated an immense love and interest for food.

Prerna, at 36, managing all the administrative part of “Pickle Shickle,” along with running her production house and her theater ambitions. She is a true example of a young woman empowerment.
